Heya! Erin Go Bragh my friends!
Today I’ll be seeing the Shane McGowan documentary “Crock of Gold” at the ex-Oregon Theater on Division.
It was a porn theater until 2020, and one of the final hold-outs of Old Portland. Now it’s owned by the Portland Art Museum who likes to go by “PAM” which is a cooking spray, and calls the theater the “Tomorrow” theater so every time I see an ad for a movie there I’m like “oh shit that’s tomorrow, I thought it was Sunday” etc etc.
My buddy Bob Ham is introducing the screening because he’s everywhere. I’d tell you about the upcoming in-store appearance at his shop Super-Electric Records but its a small space and I’d just be making things harder for myself!

All the animatronic disasters happened before sunrise,
Now it’s all about the soft pelts and reasonable accommodations.
There are gripes about the cereal prices and redistricting, but the
Owls have become less vigilant irregardless. There’s no shame
Just insert yourself into the polaroid, shaking it will only make us
feel better, we’ll be the push pins on your cork board.
I mentioned love to the valet when I heard screams from the parking
structure. I’d like to think you’ll hand-deliver whatever needs mending.Noise
